Friendly and enthusiastic Architecture student offering academic tutoring in maths, art and the sciences.

About the lesson

I take great pride in developing individualised tutoring programs for my students based on their specific needs and goals. I have four years of tutoring experience in a wide variety of subject areas, but I specialise in Art, Maths and Chemistry. My sessions will cover a variety of topics, where we will discuss the relevant knowledge of the topic and work through a set of questions together, which will help me identify the student's strengths and weaknesses. I will assign homework for that week, so that the student can review the material, practice and be prepared for the next lesson. At the beginning of the following session, we will discuss the answers and go over any areas of confusion. My lessons can either have a pre-set structure, be goal directed or act as an opportunity for students to address specific questions or areas of difficulty. Before starting tuition, we'll spend time setting those goals, creating a plan and identify their ambitions for the term and in the future.

About Tamar

I am currently studying architecture and I have four years of tutoring experience ranging from the 11+, KS3 to GCSE. I believe in an active teaching approach as it promotes recall and a deeper understanding of the material, as my students are engaging with the content rather than simply listening to it.
