About Henry
Hello! I am a passionate life scientist and researcher holding a Ph.D. in Plant Genetics, a Master’s degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. While my research expertise is focused on genetics, my academic journey has given me an incredibly robust, comprehensive foundation across all core areas of Biology. I firmly believe that the fundamental laws of life, molecular biology, and cellular mechanics are universal, and my goal is to help you master these concepts with total confidence.
Teaching and mentoring have been central to my academic career. I began tutoring during my undergraduate years, where I discovered a knack for helping students prepare for crucial supplementary exams by breaking down intimidating topics into manageable, logical pieces. Beyond private tutoring, I spent nine months teaching at my alma mater following graduation, and served as a Laboratory Demonstrator and assignment assessor at the University of Tasmania from 2017 to 2020. This extensive university-level experience means I excel at translating dense textbook theories into clear, actionable understanding.
