About Michelle
I am passionate about sharing and instilling my love for English Literature with young learners in ways that are accessible and meaningful. I have experience teaching students 1:1 and in groups within educational and community settings, and I specialise in KS2 English Reading, Comprehension and Vocabulary (ages 7-11).

I strive to create a calm and fully inclusive learning environment through which I'm able to build rapport with learners. It's important to me that learners feel able to make mistakes, ask questions, and work alongside me to find the best way to develop their English speaking, reading and writing skills. On Superprof or Zoom, I deliver 1 hour online sessions, focusing on the area(s) of English that you would most like your child to work on. I work closely with parents to ensure home-based support complements tutoring, and am happy to discuss and review goals as needed. Lessons are personalised to meet individual needs, and I'm happy to offer everything from topic-focused conversations and joint reading activities, to more detailed comprehension exercises. Lessons can be as playful as you like - learning should be fun! Lessons will be paid for in advance, and any cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance via email so as not to incur a fee. I look forward to discovering the best ways to develop your English with you!
