About Dyamond
I believe confidence in English grows when students are given the opportunity to express themselves and connect their learning to things they genuinely enjoy. Whether you are passionate about dance, horror, gaming, music, books or something completely different, I want to help you discover how those interests can connect with English and creative thinking.
My lessons are supportive, encouraging and tailored to the individual student. I will never expect you to simply memorise information without understanding why it matters. Instead, we can work together to build your confidence in reading, writing, analysing and expressing your ideas clearly. I have a GCSE in English Language and strong personal interests in reading, creative writing and critical thinking, alongside informal experience supporting younger family members with their schoolwork.
My aim is to create a professional but relaxed environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes and develop your own voice without feeling judged.

My approach to English is creative, practical and centred around the individual student rather than simply following a textbook. For GCSE English Language, I like to use past exam questions and papers to break down exactly what each question is asking, then practise developing strong answers and creative writing ideas. For reading and comprehension, I like to understand the student’s interests and recommend engaging books suited to them, reading and discussing passages together while exploring the author’s choices, themes and intended effects. I want lessons to feel interesting and approachable rather than intimidating. Lessons are typically around one hour and are aimed at students aged 13+ studying GCSE-level English Language. I have a GCSE in English Language and informal experience supporting younger family members with their schoolwork, alongside a strong personal interest in reading, writing and critical thinking.
