About Santanu
I am a Physics educator and research scientist currently associated with IIT Guwahati, holding a Ph.D. in Physics and having several years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including at Tezpur University. My academic background and research in applied materials and optoelectronics enable me to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications, making learning more meaningful and engaging.
I am committed to creating a supportive and disciplined learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in Physics. My goal is not only to help students perform well in exams but also to cultivate genuine interest, clarity of concepts, and strong analytical thinking in the subject.

I focus on building strong conceptual understanding in Physics by connecting fundamental principles with real-life applications. My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered, encouraging questions, discussions, and logical reasoning rather than rote learning. A typical class begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by clear explanation of new topics, illustrative examples, and guided problem-solving sessions. I also provide regular practice assignments and dedicated doubt-clearing support.
My special emphasis is on simplifying complex ideas, strengthening numerical problem-solving skills, and preparing students for exams with confidence. Classes are suitable for school students (Class 9–12), competitive exam aspirants such as JEE/NEET, as well as undergraduate students, including B.Sc. Physics (Honours), who want a deeper and more structured understanding of the subject.
