About Rachel
I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher with 2 years’ classroom experience including teaching children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and social, emotional and behavioural difficulties; 1 year’s voluntary youth work and community experience as well as tutoring children with English as an Additional Language, and part time home-schooling a 9-year-old and a 12-year-old. I also hold a diploma in Speech and Drama with 4 years’ tutoring experience where I successfully coached Primary and Secondary aged pupils through accredited examinations.

My teaching method is very pupil-centred; constantly identifying specific areas requiring support and strengthening and then working with the pupil to find unique strategies that work for him or her. My goal is to make learning accessible and fun, using a range of teaching methods tailored to the individual.
