About Peter
I am a mathematics tutor specialising in GCSE, A-Level, university-level maths, and actuarial science preparation for adult learners.
I achieved an A* in Further Maths (2011)* and have completed advanced university-level algebra modules, giving me a strong foundation in both school mathematics and higher-level quantitative methods used in degree and professional study.
My focus is on making mathematics logical, structured, and understandable, so students develop real confidence rather than relying on memorised methods.

My lessons are structured to build both understanding and exam performance, with a strong focus on problem-solving and independent thinking. I tailor my approach depending on the student’s level.
Teaching approach:
