About Fedra
My A level teachers at Wimbledon High School were a huge inspiration to me. They were both one of the primary reasons why I decided to go and study Geography at Edinburgh in 2022! Teaching was always fun but challanging at the same time. I hope that I too can encourage my tutee to enjoy learning such a fascinating subject.

Lessons last for one hour where we will first cover the theory that needs to be learnt with a mix of traditional methods (e.g. popcorn reading, highlighting texts) but also through using online whiteboards for annotations and diagrams. In addition, we will be having verbal discussions/ debates on specific topics, which will allow the tutee to put theoretical knowledge into real-world context. Most importantly there will be some time at the end of the lesson to focus on the areas which were not understood and recover them using different learning methods. I will also send out some links to related news stories and helpful revision websites like Mr Gordonstoun Geography.
I have tutored Geography previously to GCSE students at my high school in person. My lessons are designed for GCSE geographers with some potential A level students too.
