About Mitchell
If I've done anything it’s two things:
1. More maths than you could shake a stick at (probably)
2. More research into learning styles/theories than you could shake a stick at (also, probably)
Thankfully I misunderstood plenty of lectures, giving me the pleasure of enjoying 3-5 different explanations on any single concept which has now amounted to an intimate understanding of the one thing we are never taught: how we learn!
Over the last five years of my undergrad at UofT in Computer Engineering I had the opportunity to develop this skill and apply it to my maths and sciences which gave me a great background for helping folks work through similar material!
Additionally:
- I was an ambassador to my program + am currently an advisor helping students decide and apply to the best fit uni programs
- I am not just in STEM! being heavily engaged in the arts: architecture, design, sculpture, photography, creative writing/lit and many more!
- Ex founder of a few successful tech ventures

What’s the best indicator of success here? Its conversation!
The same concept can be explained 3-5 different ways but only one will make it really click. No topic is too advanced for anyone to grasp, but the way it’s communicated will determine how well you’ve got it.
My struggle with lectures developed my interest in alternative approaches and theories of pedagogy — this is what gives me the confidence we can figure anything out.
