About Talha

I’m a medical student with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and a passion for helping others learn. Having recently completed my GCSEs and IB, I understand how overwhelming exams can feel and the difference a supportive tutor can make. I genuinely enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas and seeing students grow in confidence. Tutoring allows me to share the strategies that helped me succeed and to make a positive impact on someone’s academic journey. I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making real progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are 1–2 hours long and structured around the syllabus using a traffic light system to identify areas of confidence and difficulty. I begin by clearly explaining each topic, often using real-life examples or analogies to make complex ideas easier to grasp. We then work through a simple question followed by a more challenging one. I encourage students to explain the concept back to me in their own words to reinforce understanding. From there, we tackle a mix of easy and difficult practice questions, finishing with the student attempting harder problems independently, with guidance as needed.
