About Jordan
I earned my M.S. in Applied Mathematics from UT Austin and have spent seven years tutoring undergraduates and high school students. As a former graduate teaching assistant, I created supplemental workshops leading to a 50% increase in students’ test scores. In my dual role as a data-science mentor, I guide student teams on real-world data challenges—like predicting energy consumption—emphasizing reproducible code, rigorous proofs, and critical thinking.

From geometry constructions—Euclidean proofs, coordinate transformations—to algebra (multi-variable equations, polynomial theory), we progress into statistics (descriptive/inferential analysis, regression modeling) using real data, and sharpen trigonometry through signal modeling and rotational kinematics. Interactive tools—GeoGebra, MATLAB, and Python’s NumPy—reveal underlying patterns as we tackle both theoretical problems and applied projects, such as optimizing survey sampling or modeling periodic phenomena.
