About Naima
My name is Naima. I am a graduate student at Georgetown University, studying Data Science for Public Policy. I hold a master’s in economics from LUMS, a master’s in education, and a degree in mathematics.
I have taught for many years. I spent seven years in public schools as a math teacher, head examiner, and headmistress. I also taught economics at LUMS and was a teaching assistant for econometrics.
Today, I work as a research assistant at Georgetown. I use Stata, R, and Python every day on real research projects. I also co-built an AI tool that helps students analyze data in Stata.
I am patient, reliable, and I care about my students’ progress.

I am a graduate student in Data Science for Public Policy at Georgetown University. I also hold a master’s in economics and a degree in mathematics. Before coming to the US, I taught math for seven years and led a school as headmistress. I have also taught university economics and econometrics.
My method is simple: I explain each idea in plain words, show a real example, and then let you practice. I go step by step and never rush. If something is unclear, we try a different way until it makes sense.
A typical lesson:
We review your questions or assignment.
I explain the key concept with a clear example.
You practice with my guidance.
We summarize and plan next steps.
My lessons are for undergraduate and graduate students, thesis writers, and researchers. I teach Stata, R, econometrics, statistics, and math. I am patient, organized, and focused on helping you feel confident.
