About Jack
I'm a good tutor because I teach from my own experience. I'm young, so I've been in my students' shoes in the past decade or less. And I'm driven to see students succeed. 'Aha' moments are everything. (I went through the public school system in the US, so I'm particularly familiar with 'new' standards for math.)
I recently received my bachelor's degree in international politics from Georgetown University in just three years. Now, I am a master's student at the same university studying conflict resolution, with hopes to remain in the Washington, DC area upon graduation.
I've tutored peers and clients since I was in high school myself, ringing in my 7th year of experience in 2024!

I approach tutoring with each student's individual and unique needs at the center. There is no such thing as a typical session, as each is dynamic and actively responsive to the growing writer's needs.
For my math service, I make full use of Zoom's whiteboard and share screen features, as well as additional pedagogical tools I've engineered, to optimize the student's learning experience. I'm particularly well known for my ability to explain concepts in numerous different ways, adjusting my lessons for both grade level and the student's particular interests and abilities.
I can support students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
