About Francine
I’m a Law Master’s student with an LLB in Law and German. I am passionate about languages and have a sharp eye for what examiners are really looking for. Having studied at Trinity College Dublin and Humboldt Universität Berlin, and spent two years living and working in Germany, I know exactly how to get you exam-ready with clear strategies, tailored practice, and focused feedback.
My lessons are designed to cut through the stress, boost your confidence, and get you the results you deserve - without boring drills. And yes, we’ll even manage to have some fun along the way. After all, German exams might be serious business… but learning doesn’t have to be!

Teaching Technique: - First one or two lessons will seek to assess and understand the student's strengths and weaknesses. - Short teaching periods with exercises in between each period. - Quizzes, presentations, oral roleplays between myself and the students - Short essays. - Homework tasks. Experience: - Tutored Irish school students (ages 12-16) in German. - Tutored German school students (age 15) in English. - Studied at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (2022/23). - Worked in Berlin for one year (2022/23). - Final year Law and German (language) student at Trinity College Dublin. - Certified C1 language ability (in accordance with the Common European Framework Regulation). - Leaving Certificate 2020 (Ranking: 1; H1 (96%)) - Junior Certificate (Higher Level Grade A and among the top 80 in the country) Teaching levels available: A1 - B2.

Francine is an amazing German Tutor. She is extremely patient and understands all of your concerns. She especially helped me with my pronunciation for my leaving cert oral.
