About Yushua
My name is Yushua, and I attend Manchester Grammar School, one of the top schools in the country. I have a strong academic background, having achieved grades 8 and 9 across all my GCSEs, and I’ve been tutoring since I was 15—starting with 11+ preparation and later expanding to GCSE subjects. I specialise in English Literature, English Language, Maths, and the Sciences, helping students build confidence and improve their understanding. Beyond academics, I have a passion for writing poetry in my spare time, which has helped me develop strong analytical and communication skills—both essential for teaching. I’m also a big football fan and support FC Barcelona. As a younger tutor, I find it easy to connect with students, making learning more engaging and approachable. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a deeper understanding of their subjects in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.

I believe I would be an excellent tutor because I have both the academic credentials and teaching experience necessary to support students effectively. At 17, I have been tutoring for over two years, starting with 11+ preparation at 15 and expanding to GCSE content after completing my own exams. Having achieved grades 8 and 9 across all my subjects, I have a strong understanding of the material and the techniques needed to succeed. As a younger tutor, I can connect with students more easily, understanding their challenges and explaining concepts in a way that feels approachable and engaging. I specialise in English Literature, English Language, Maths, and the Sciences, tailoring my teaching to each student’s needs to build confidence and improve performance.
