Since I’ve known Shelby, I have found her to be a kind and talented artist who illustrations always have blown me away. Her patience, hard-working attitude, and calming presence are all great aspects to have as a teacher.

Shelby is an extremely trustworthy and observant teacher. I had the pleasure of co-teaching with Shelby at our previous school The Penn Christian Academy. Shelby loves to engage with children through art and music. Shelby is so amazing at articulating unique and creative lesson plans that not only are intriguing to the students but also acting as soothing, and calming enrichment activities for all students. Shelby goes above and beyond to meet the need or needs of each individual student or child she works with. Shelby is creative and an amazing artist herself. She is extremely organized and prepped for each lesson plan she is presenting. Shelby always presents clear and concise instructions to the co-teachers, parents, and the student/students.

I met Shelby in college where we were both in the graphic design program. We had many art classes together and became good friends. Shelby is patient, hard-working, and a sweet person.
