About Kyla
I am a twenty two year old student who has just completed her undergraduate degree in which in my third year I specialised in language.
I have a passion for the English language, in my final year my dissertation was based upon bilingual children's experiences within primary schools. I scored an 81/100, overall achieving a 1st Class Degree with Honours. During my undergraduate studies, I completed a Level 5 TESOL qualification in which I taught EAL adults for over 12 weeks, this included both 1:1 sessions and large classes.
At the moment I am completing my postgraduate studies in Early Years, where I will qualify with an Early Years Teaching status. In this degree, I have been placed on two large placements in settings where I have never practised before. These placements gave me so much experience, teaching me how to navigate professional relationships, teach children I had never met and in the moment planning.
Through this experience I have grown to be an organised, enthusiastic and eager teacher.

In order to retain information, repetition is key. When teaching I am sure to be precise and clear. It is imperative that the content is concise and helpful for the student.
I have lots of experience as a teacher. My undergraduate degree was in English where I achieved a 1st with Honours, achieving an 81/100 in my final year dissertation. I am a Level 5 TESOL teacher, I taught EAL adults both 1:1 and in large group classes over a space of 12 weeks. I have volunteered in primary schools and I am currently completing my PGCE in Early Years. My experience has ranged across all ages. I am incredibly enthusiastic about teaching and learning.
The typical length of a lesson is an hour although I am flexible if longer lessons are preferred.
These lessons are suitable for students studying their GCSEs or their A-Levels.
