About Eve
I have worked at schools in New York City and in St. Louis, Missouri, where I worked with elementary-aged students. I have also coached students on the ACT, SAT, and AP tests, giving them the strategies that helped me do my best 4 years ago. In my free time, I read, write, and get outside as much as I can.

I typically start by asking a student what they would like to go over in today's session. I find this the best way to make sure we're on the same page. Practice questions are also a go to at the beginning of any session, suggesting what areas still need work.
If a subject is not making sense to the student, I am careful to try a new way of explaining it. I move at whatever pace is preferable and do my best to guide the lesson with strategies and games.
