About Jodi-Ann
As a tutor, I do my own lesson plans and my students get quizzes based on the previous lesson. Before I start tutoring, I give my students a free pre-assessment on the previous Math course that they did. That way, I can evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and look for areas that need to be reviewed before moving into their current Math subject. As a tutor, I will first focus on any homework or test preparation that the student has, before going into my personal tutoring material. Students and parents will have a conference with me every 2 or 3 weeks through phone or video call. Students and parents can also give me their feedback on their learning experience.

Teaching is my forte and a gift of mine. I have years of experience with tutoring different kinds of students from all walks of life. I personally know what it's like to need a tutor when I am struggling with a certain subject. Therefore, I treat my students the way that I would like to be treated. I like to know each of my students personally, so I could make the lessons relatable and relevant to my personal life. From experience, I see that students are likely to be engaged in the lesson and comprehend the material once they see the relevance of the lesson to their daily life.
