About Harman
Hello! I’m a medical graduate, dedicated to helping students of all ages master math with confidence. My academic background in medicine has equipped me with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of complex problem-solving, all of which I apply to teaching mathematics. I believe that everyone can excel in math with the right support and guidance. Whether you’re struggling with basic concepts or preparing for important exams, I’m here to ensure that you fully understand the material, build your skills, and achieve your goals. Currently I am preparing for my licensing exam to be able to practice medicine in New Zealand. Meanwhile I would like to use my knowledge and tutor those who need help.

My approach to teaching maths focuses on building a strong conceptual foundation, developing problem-solving skills, and increasing confidence and independence.
Key strategies I use:-
-Step by step explanations
-active learning
-mastery through practice
Maths lessons are usually 60 minutes long. This gives us time to:
-Review previous topics or homework.
-Introduce and explain a new concept.
-Work through practice problems together.
-Answer questions and build exam strategies if needed.
For younger students or intensive revision, sessions can be adjusted to 30–90 minutes depending on attention span and goals.
