I wish I had someone who was younger than my A Level Politics teacher, relatable to me, to teach me so I felt that I could raise concerns and misunderstandings easier. I seek to have this common ground with students and make your life as easy as possible, while getting you the best results.

My style of teaching is very proactive - not a lecture at all. I want to make sure my students feel like my lessons are different to how schools can sometimes teach, which can be too broad and disengaging.
I know what it is like to sit through a boring lesson, wishing to do better but not being able to find the work interesting. This is why my lessons feel more like a conversation than being spoken at. I plan my lessons differently for each student, but generally, the lesson for A Level students goes as follows:
- Objectives for the lesson: what do we want to achieve by the end?
- Starter activity: this can be a quick fire game or even a catch up on the news that week.
- Techniques for exam practice/absorbing information and UNDERSTANDING it. This is not simple regurgitation. Mini fun tests included.
My lessons are for anyone from 14+. I predominantly focus on GCSE/A Level students.
I have experience tutoring A Level students for Edexcel and AQA.
