I believe in every student gaining clarity in fundamental concepts before proceeding to more specific cases. I tailor my classes to student needs and enjoy interactive and enthusiastic students. After going over the syllabus, I will come up with a weekly structure that will involve both discussions as well as written exercises to substantially train students in their chosen study area.
My teaching style is very conversational and relaxed, looking at slowly building confidence by explaining, showing examples, with contextual information added for depth of knowledge and giving the basis of the knowledge. Running through examples is a key part of my tutoring before moving on to discuss and query the question in detail.
My teaching method is centred around student engagement and repetition of material that will be tested - be that words, numbers or formulas - in fun, creative and engaging ways. I find this gives the students the best grasp of a topic or issue.
Time Academy, with its experienced and supportive team, is dedicated to assist students not only during their application process but also throughout their study abroad.
I approach each topic based by thematic patterns, and emphasize geography and topography of each region that heavily ties into each conflict. I also teach from the Gestalt method--teaching from experience, and emphasizing understanding. I am lenient and fair, and challenge students to think for themselves.
My teaching method is based on practice practice and practice, this is important for me and I will help you understand the benefits of this. I will demonstrate the importance of this through use of practice papers and extra assignments I will set, I will also mark all work and give as much feedback as I can.
My teaching methodology is Active. I believe strongly that active teaching and engaging activities are the key to a student being able to absorb but also retain a good set amount of knowledge. However, i do take the time out to learn about my students as having a good relationship with them can open up more pathways into being able to teach them in a way more suited to them.
I am a graduate in International Relations and Oil & Gas Management. I give lessons to students at college and at home for all those sitting to first, second and final year exams. Topics within modules are introduced, discussed, participation and exercises encouraged. Mock test questions given as assignments and group participation in answering introduced.
While admittedly I have no prior experience of tutoring, I am very passionate about making learning enjoyable and adaptable for my students. I have a large quantity of notes and text books on History, English and Media Studies, varying from intermediate to academic, which I will use during my lessons.
