About Kadidjatou
Coming from Niger, I knew little English. It was a huge change to transfer from a private French school, to an American public school. Learning English was not a big challenge to overcome. At the time, I spoke French, Zarma, Haussa and I understood Fulani as well as English. I slightly understood and spoke Spanish. Learning another language was not challenging. The language barrier did not stop me from working hard. My determination and motivation helped me achieve goals, such as being inducted into the National Honor Society. In fact, I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school years while participating in extracurricular activities. For two years, I've been in the French honor society and in the Math Honor society during my senior year.
