About Shane Carmody Music
I have been playing guitar now for over 30yrs and completed my Diploma in Music last year.
I love and teach all styles of music but I have found the blues style is pivotal in gaining greater understanding of the guitar and in studying the blues greats you will have a better appreciation of their techniques and be able to incorporate into your own playing.
I am also a songwriter having produced a number of albums and able to play in open tunings and slide style, which I would also be happy to teach.
I have a Social Work background and have great communication skills and most importantly I am a good listener.

Lessons will be focussed on your goals and interests and I will build in my skills and knowledge to accomodate this.
The space will be a safe and welcoming environment for all age levels.
Beginners and those wanting to expand on the fretboard more or develop more musical knowledge will benefit the most.
Lessons will be at my home studio in North-East Adelaide. Happy to look into online and in-home tuition if required.
