About Willy
I am a recent college graduate who loves to read and write. Beyond that, I love to help people read and write more effectively. Everybody has something interesting to say and looks at the same thing differently. I want to help people who have trouble finding their voice to speak their thoughts or who just can't seem to understand what they are reading. I know that each individual learns at a different pace and in a different way. Truly, my greatest assets are my flexibility, my inquisitiveness, and my kindness. I do not judge, and nobody ever needs to feel embarrassed with me.

-I have a unique approach to reading and writing that focuses on helping the student enjoy their reading and feel proud of their writing
-School often focuses on dissecting writing to the point where it is almost unrecognizable as an essay, literature, or anything
-I stress looking at the story as a story before anything else. I look at every action in a story and ask why it happened and what the consequence is
-In writing, I take a similar approach where instead of stories, I focus on a message. What are we trying to say?
-After we answer the previous question, we treat every word as a deliberate action: asking ourselves why we need to use it and how it helps us say what we want to say
