About Amanda
After graduating from the University of Houston with a major in creative writing and a minor in education, I have taught middle and high school English for more than five years, each year preparing my students for the state’s standardized test.
I have taught students with a variety of needs, from those who are on level academically to those who have been given been given labels such as SPED, ESL, GT, or AP.
With the experience of teaching through COVID, I have grown confident in my ability to teach remotely and to extended that experience through online tutoring.
