About Megan
My name is Meg and I have tutored English for 2 years now! I did my undergrad in English language and literature at the University of Oxford and absolutely love tutoring the subject! I have also done a master's in cultures and environments of health. I am here to make sure everyone gets the most out of English - either pushing to get to that top grade they can achieve, or getting confident in achieving the pass!

My lessons are tailored to suit you! I am happy to set up a lesson plan with you before we begin tutoring together, or else some people feel better directing the lesson each week. Often, going through past papers is helpful for people, as well as general analysis of poetry and prose to work on confidence. I also am happy to mark work sent to me after the lessons to give feedback on this. I have also tutored students with SpLDs, including those with neurodivergent needs or learning disabilities, who may need different styles of teaching to get the most out of a session. My lessons generally last 1 hour, but some people find 1.5 hours helpful too. I teach at GCSE level, A Level and am happy to help with university level too.
