About Elizabeth
I am a very outgoing person, which makes me easy to communicate with, and I believe helps me become a better tutor. I did Speech and Debate in both high school and college, where I learned to be both an effective communicator and teacher.
Additionally, I was a student myself. In high school, I completed the IB program, and I was a STEM major in university, so I completely understand what students are going through. I understand concerns and how to help students grasp particular concepts they are learning. I graduated recently, in 2023, so I believe I am truly able to help students and connect with them seeing I so recently was in their position!

My teaching method is unique to each student, as I cater to each students needs. I have worked as a tutor for 8 years, since my freshman year in high school. I am very patient, and I let students truly learn instead of simply handing out answers.
A typical lesson plan for me looks as such: I would go over the worksheet (or whatever material we are working with for the day) with the student, identify problems and gaps in understanding, and help bridge those gaps by explaining them and asking the student questions.
