About Jordan
I work full time at UWA currently in the Student Equity team where I work with high school students weekly, delivering workshops about STEM subjects as well as university life/pathways and assessing students' general capabilities and catering for individual students’ needs to achieve success. I have a background in humanities and literature as I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science & International Relations with distinction. I took literature units (achieved high distinctions) while at university so have strong skills in this area as well. I am commencing my Master of Teaching at UWA next year so am excited to assist students with their learning and confidence surrounding their goals and school itself.

I will structure tutoring sessions around the student’s learning style and individual needs. I want to create a fun, enthusiastic, and safe space for learning where no question is a silly one but a chance to learn something or go over a specific point or area that they may not feel comfortable or confident enough to discuss with their teacher or peers in a classroom setting.
