About Bennett

Hello, my names Bennett! I'm a 23 year old recent graduate and lifelong bookworm. I spent my childhood growing up in libraries, using any and all free time I had to explore worlds greater than our own. All of these years later, that love for literature blossomed into any piece of writing, academic or otherwise, that I could get my hands on. As your tutor my top priority would be sharing my love for the written word with you, and ensuring you leave my lessons with the same kind of high level comprehension that sticks with you for a lifetime, not just for a semester. I look forward to working with you!

- Personalized Approach: I assess my students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles to tailor lessons that resonate with them best. This ensures a dynamic and engaging learning environment where each student's progress is maximized.

- Inclusive Learning: I foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere, encouraging open discussions and valuing each student's perspective. This enables students to learn not just from me but also from one another's experiences.

- Language Immersion: To accelerate language acquisition, I incorporate immersive techniques such as reading literary works, watching films, and engaging in meaningful conversations. This helps students grasp context, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references.

- Creative Writing: I encourage students to unleash their creativity through writing exercises. By exploring different genres and styles, they can improve their writing prowess while expressing their unique voices.

- Literary Analysis: Analyzing literature not only sharpens critical thinking but also deepens language comprehension. I guide my students through in-depth discussions, helping them uncover the layers of meaning within literary works.

- Real-World Application: I believe that language learning must be relevant to real-life situations. Hence, I incorporate current events, contemporary literature, and relevant media into our lessons to connect language skills to practical applications.

- Continuous Feedback and Progress Evaluation: I provide constructive feedback on written and spoken work, highlighting areas of improvement while celebrating achievements. Regular progress assessments ensure that we stay on track with our learning objectives.
