About Lucy
Hi! My name is Lucy and I grew up on a rural farm in NSW, Australia. I attended high school at St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School in Brisbane, and I graduated as Valedictorian and an academic Scholar. Throughout high school, I had the goal of attending a U.S. College after finishing as a Biology student on the Pre-Med track. I took two AP Classes (Chemistry and Biology) and received 12 acceptances with 9 academic scholarships. I am attending The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall. I have gained a lot of scientific experience throughout my high school education, not only in the classroom but through Titration competitions and laboratory experience days. I have a deep understanding of the requirements for high school science courses, and Literature and English subjects.

- I have experience in the Queensland ATAR system and the U.S. Advanced Placement system. - As a personal tutor of the Sciences and Literature/English and Prefect tutor throughout high school, I have experience with children of all ages from higher elementary through high school. - In sessions from 1/2 an hour to an hour and a 1/2 in length, I can offer in-depth topic breakdowns, support with essays, lessons about research and writing scientific papers. - I can also offer specific advice for students who are looking to study in the United States, as I have had experience with AP Exams, and can offer tutoring in that field.
