About Jenny
Hi! I'm Jenny. I have over 30 years of experience in the arts. I have been featured at festivals, painted local murals, competed in and won state competitions for art. I have my BA in Art and Elementary Education. Having the background of working in both fields I not only bring a kindness and energy for art but also the best practices using the psychology of learning. Individualized education is truly my passion. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals!

My teaching method relies on not only on building upon your weaknesses to create an unshakable foundation in art knowledge but also fun and interesting activities to inspire new works. A typical lesson will have first an explanation of the terminology used and then a guided hands on experience with whichever medium you chose to work in (pencils, paint, pottery, etc). The student will then be given a time to complete the work if there is still more to do or possibly given optional homework to reinforce the skills we have chosen together to focus on. Lessons are 100% catered to each individual and will celebrate skills and improvements regularly. Lessons are for beginner and intermediate artists who work in paint, colored pencil, ink, graphite, or pottery.
