About Halle
I am a passionate and experienced mathematics tutor with a strong background in teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed. While studying at USC, I worked with underprivileged elementary school students, teaching basic math and economic concepts and developing tailored lesson plans each week. I specialize in arithmetic, trigonometry, and algebra, and my goal is to make math approachable, engaging, and fun! My goal is to inspire confidence in my students, helping them overcome challenges and providing them with a support system for their academic needs!

I like to focus on curating lessons to each student's learning style and academic goals, making math engaging through interactive lesson plans and real-world application.
I was a student volunteer teacher during my time at USC where I taught local elementary school students basic math and economic concepts, which sharpened my ability to convey and simplify complex topics, create effective weekly lesson plans and apply them in the classroom.
My perseverance as a student and eagerness to learn concepts in school that I was not initially strong in help set me apart as a tutor. I had a couple amazing tutors when I was in high school, and I find great joy in giving back.
My lessons are for elementary, middle and high school students. I am able to work with students of all age ranges. I intend on teaching arithmetic, trigonometry and algebra.
