About Shailja
I am a student of Applied Psychology, pursuing my Master's from the University Of Delhi. Teaching has always held immense value in my heart. Not only do I cherish my teachers, I also aim to be one for someone else.
I intend to pursue my PhD from abroad. A lot of my time is spent in academic pursuits. I know for a fact that teachers can change lives, I have seen it happening. I am confident that in my three years of teaching school students I have built strong bonds with them.
I have immense patience, and my emphasis is also on gaining knowledge, which sets me apart from a lot of teachers people come across. I can assure you that I will not let our classes get dull and vapid. After each class, you and I both will be transformed into someone better.

I do not believe inthe traditional lecture method of teaching. Being a psychology student, I prefer using advanced cognitive techniques to break down complex topics into digestible elements. I can assure that I can help students retain any topic permanently and apply it to real life problems. This methodology opposes bland rote-memorisation and makes learning fun and effective.
