About Juliet
I am a former elementary (K-5) technology and robotics teacher and middle school (6-8) reading teacher. I am currently preparing for graduate school in school psychology. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I worked at the tutoring center to help students write essays. I have worked with both gen-ed and special education students in grade levels K-12 and undergraduate in reading, writing, technology, and psychology both in the classroom and virtually.

As a tutor, I individualize lessons to the student's ability level and learning style!
We will start every class off with a review of what we went over last week and a goal for today's session.
Each session will be focused on what the student wants to learn while I keep track of any additional struggles to work on in future sessions. Materials from the student's classroom teachers as well as my materials if applicable will be used.
Students feel safe to make mistakes in my classroom. Mistakes mean you are learning and curiosity is a pillar of intelligence!
I prefer to bring the student's interests into the classroom and prepare engaging lessons for the individual to ensure they connect with the material and learn easier.
I can teach 3rd grade-12th grade spelling, grammar, and reading, and middle and high school writing and test preparation!
