About Precious

I am a friendly, patient and supportive tutor with a strong interest in helping students improve their confidence and understanding in maths. I enjoy simplifying challenging topics and making lessons easier to follow for students of different abilities and learning styles.

I specialise in GCSE and KS3 Maths, particularly algebra, statistics and problem-solving. My approach focuses on clear explanations, consistent practice and building confidence step by step. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs and learning speeds.

I believe that every student can succeed in maths with the right support, patience and teaching approach. My lessons focus on simplifying difficult topics into easy step-by-step methods that students can understand and apply confidently in exams and homework.

I mainly teach GCSE and KS3 Maths, including algebra, statistics, graphs, equations and general problem-solving skills. My lessons are designed for students who may be struggling with confidence, preparing for exams, revising key topics or simply wanting extra academic support alongside school lessons.

A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs and goals. During lessons, I explain concepts clearly, work through examples together and provide practice questions to strengthen understanding and improve exam technique. I also focus on identifying common mistakes students make and helping them develop more effective problem-solving strategies.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and adaptable to different learning speeds and abilities. I aim to create a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving without pressure. Lessons are conducted online and are suitable for UK curriculum students preparing for KS3 or GCSE Maths examinations.
