About Yih Lun (Henry)
I am Henry, graduated from the National University of Singapore in Chemistry with a minor in Geosciences and Ecology. Teaching has always fascinated me as I feel a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when I see my students grow and progress through the years.

10 years experience in teaching Chemistry and Biology, have taught in tuition centers, groups, 1-1 both physically and online. Attended Chemistry - Official IB Category 2 & 3 Teacher Training Workshops on New IB Syllabus + New Chemistry IA. Currently hired in one of the top reviewed Chemistry centers in Singapore as an overall IB Chemistry Head, JC Chemistry tutor and Upper Sec Chemistry in charge. Taught IB Chemistry in ACS Independent (I have employment letter available as proof). I provide my own materials where I will guide students to fill in the blank spaces given in my notes (with key prompts available). This is so they will know what comes before and after in the learning sequence. I also tend to ask many questions which will be crucial in prompting their thinking process and arrive at the correct conclusion. I have more than 80% distinction grades of students in all examination boards - IB Chemistry, A Level Chemistry and O Level/IP Chemistry. Over the years, I have coached many students and they feel that I am a patient person. I have also taught many juniors from my alma mater - ACS Independent - and many have reviewed that I am a helpful senior who knows the syllabus extremely well to guide them through the IB journey.
