About Rithika
I have enjoyed tutoring and teaching throughout my life and continually mentor younger students. I appreciate the mutually respectful and friendly relationship between students and teachers. I believe that I can make a real difference in a student's academic performance if given the time and opportunity. I will uphold the utmost professionalism and want my students to feel comfortable and open with me. I am currently earning my Masters in Biomedical Sciences and will be starting medical school next Fall! I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing pickleball/basketball, and going on road-trips. I aim to teach middle school, high school, or undergraduate students. With experience as a teaching assistant, professional tutor, and academic chair I understand the variety of learning styles that students may encompass and will develop a teaching plan accordingly. Additionally, I love incorporating games, flashcards, and other active learning techniques to help my students retain their information rather than just memorize or learn for a short-term period. I believe learning can be fun and rewarding if each student is met with an individualized approach.
