I also like to share my success stories with students and with parents if applicable. I set clear expectations up front, and I also paraphrase my students' concerns and ask clarifying questions to show engagement. My tone with my students is always respectful and non-judgmental. By choosing to take science lessons with me, students gain access to an engaging, supportive, and flexible learning environment that not only helps them succeed academically but also inspires a genuine interest in science. We will undoubtedly have a lot of fun. One of the things I like to do is to use storytelling to make scientific concepts relatable and memorable. I frame lessons as stories—either real-life accounts of scientists and discoveries or fictional narratives illustrating scientific processes.
