About Charlie
My name is Charlie and I am an 18-year-old university student with a passion for English and all things poetry and film! I love almost all books from Percy Jackson to Marvel Comics. I know school and learning can be daunting, boring and scary but if taught the right way with the proper teaching it can be fun and liberating. I also know that mental health and disability can make it hard to learn but that's why my tutoring is student-based and tailored to your needs because EVERYONE is unique and EVERYONE'S brain works differently. I believe learning should be accessible no matter the gender, race, sexuality, disability, ethnicity, age, and religion. And I know I can make learning engaging for any student!

I have capabilities to teach any age from kindergarten to year 12, at any skill level. I create personalized tutoring sessions that center around the kid's personal interests and what they are learning in school. Depending on what the lessons cover and the attention span of the student, the classes can range anywhere from half an hour to hours on hours as I understand some students may take longer to learn which is of no problem to me. I have seven younger siblings who are mostly neurodivergent and I have a sister who has hearing loss (as do I) so I am especially skilled in working with kids and students who need that little extra leeway. I also have an immense passion for English and teaching.
