About Claire
I’ve graduated from a teaching credential program. Last year, I taught 64 middle schoolers how to succeed in math. I am patient and willing to learn how each student learns best. I especially love Algebra and finding ways to solve the puzzles involved in math. I specialize in creating safe spaces for students to thrive and giving students the tools to solve problems on their own. I show an example, which we solve together, and then have the student and I practice together until they are comfortable to solve those problems alone.
