About Mauricio
I am a Brazilian mixed media artist. I started in the grafitti world in the mid 90’s in São Paulo, and I’ve been developing my letters and characters since then. In 2002 I moved to London where I studied for a Degree in Graphic Design. I then moved back to São Paulo where I undertook commissions, took part in exhibitions, events and live painting. I’ve been taking graffiti workshops for the past 10 years, both privately and through a gallery. I love sharing my passion with people who are new to the graffiti scene.

About the lesson

The workshop will begin with an introduction on how to use spray cans. You will then have a chance to practice straight lines and simple shapes. I will then show you how to structure the letters, some traditional graffiti techniques to fill them in, and how to do the 3D and shadow. I will then be on hand with more guidance whilst you start to create your masterpiece on the wall! Finally, I will show you how to sign your work.
