About Lauren
Hello! My name is Lauren McCoy, and I am a licensed elementary teacher from West Virginia. I graduated from Marshall University, a college that is especially meaningful to me because it is located in my hometown. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught first grade, second grade, and fifth grade, giving me experience working with students across a variety of ages and learning needs.
Outside of teaching, I am always spending time with my family and my many pets. My husband and I are also excited to be expecting our first child, a baby girl, this November.
I am passionate about helping children grow academically and build confidence in their abilities. I believe every child can succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and instruction tailored to their individual needs. I look forward to partnering with families and helping kiddos reach their full potential!
