About Tad

Do you find yourself wondering if those tiny daily habits really matter for your guitar progress? I spend my time pushing on those small compounding routines. My own path started long after a different career path ended.

I am entirely self-taught after 12 years of playing in Toronto and Montreal circuits. My teaching style comes from a desire to see you leave more independent than you arrived. I have taught dozens of students how to read sheet music and grasp music theory. Mastering ear training or improvisation feels manageable when we break it down into achievable chunks.

About the lesson

Honestly, the first time we meet is mostly me sitting back and listening to you. I diagnose your current playing before I ever try to teach a single note.

We focus on tuning, maintenance, and power chords early on. Rhythm guitar and fingerpicking become the backbone of our 6.0 out of 10 difficulty scale approach. I share free chord charts and tab sheets with you after every single class. Playing through a song you love is the most enjoyable part of the whole process.
