About William
I've been playing guitar for 20 years. Over 50,000 hours at this point. You can do the math. There isn't a day that goes by I don't spend less than 4 or 5 hours with the instrument. I went to school for music theory and guitar jazz performance. I started teaching 10 years ago and fell in love with seeing other people have these awesome musical experiences and journeys. Being able to help someone who has felt stuck and felt they wouldn't be able to get further on the instrument. I found in the end. There is no such thing as talent, only very dedicated minds. Anyone can learn the guitar. It's a skill. You just have to put the time in. And time within the right things. You may have to unlearn bad habits. Guitar isn't easy. But it's incredibly rewarding, and with the right mindset and a clear path of learning you can accomplish everything you thought you once couldn't.

Hey All! My name is Will, and I take music theory and layer it out on the guitar in a very simple and understandable way to help have more fretboard freedom resulting in a more confident player. I really look to take on intermediate to advanced players who are having problems connecting scale shapes, chords, and arpeggios together. Which even within that sentence can feel overwhelming. But it's not. It's so much easier than you think. But I also enjoy taking on beginners as well. They can be very impressionable, from any age, so it's important to have a solid foundation, which I teach while also keeping the lessons lighthearted and fun, always incorporating the influences of the student, understanding that all anyone wants to do in the end is play or make music.

Passionate about music!
I took lessons weekly with Will for 8 months as a beginner, and I feel it was very well spent. Will has a very wide musical repertoire and immense knowledge, which he was able to quickly understand what I was talking about even if I didnt when it came to music. Incredibly friendly and professional.
