About Joan
I am a certified teacher since 2003. I taught multiple subjects and Catholic Schools. I also taught wringing, math, spelling, art, and volleyball. I have taught hundreds of students. I also teach ACT and PSAT. My last student received a 35 out of 36 on his ACT test!! I was so proud of him. He was struggling with the writing portion and I was so proud that I was able to assist him to reach his goals. I also have taught special needs students. My teaching method is first to find out what the students need the most help with. Then I talk with them to find out what they feel their weakest subject is and we go from there. If they need help with their homework I am able to assist them to meet their needs.

I have known Miss Joan Wallenberg for over 30 years as I have been married to her sister for 30 years. Miss Wallenberg is a very friendly, out going person who really cares about others. I have personally witnessed her helping others even if it hurts her; She does think of others first. I have worked many hours with her myself rehabbing an old house and maintaining apartment buildings. Miss Wallenberg is very dedicated she is working on ZOOM now tutoring, her students and their parents love her and her teaching style very much. Although Miss Wallenberg has had numerous jobs her passion is teaching, to help others better themselves and our communities. Currently I charge $50 for high school students.
I charge $40 an hour for middle school students and finally, I charge $35 dollars for 5th grade and younger.
