About Rory
I want to teach you because I believe education can change how people see themselves and the world around them. I don’t see students as empty minds to be filled, but as individuals with ideas, voices, and potential that deserve to be heard. I want to teach English because language gives people power—the power to communicate confidently, to access knowledge, and to take part in global conversations. Many opportunities in education, careers, and international life are connected to English, and I want to help you reach them.

I don’t want to teach you English just to pass exams or memorise rules. I want to help you use English—to speak with confidence, to think critically, and to express who you truly are. English is more than a subject. It is a bridge to new ideas, cultures, and opportunities. When you learn English, you learn how to tell your story to the world—and how to understand others better. In my classroom, mistakes will not be something to fear. They will be proof that you are learning.
