Hello! I’m Charlie, I’m a second year English Literature student at Brighton Uni! I am enthusiastic about teaching English at GCSE level - specialising in AQA (both lit and lang).

About Charlie
After struggling with English in school, I dedicated a lot of time and effort revising and came out of my GCSEs with an 8 in Language and a 7 in Literature. I then went on to do English Literature at A-Level and am now working towards a degree in Literature. I learned the hard way that learning is not the same for everyone, and I would love to help those who lack confidence in the subject - as I did, to get back on track!

I believe that the students should shape the lessons. You prefer visual learning? That’s what we can do! You prefer repetition and quizzes? That’s what we can do! My lessons are customised to you and how you learn! I also try to bring an aspect of fun to the sessions - as I know English isn’t for everyone and sometimes you need a little extra oomph to enjoy and understand it!
