About Vanessa
I am a graduate student at the Pharmacy Department of the University of Pisa. I graduated from a scientific high school with a technological orientation. I have always had a strong passion for scientific subjects, and especially in my most recent studies, I approached the in-depth study of plant biology, the chemistry of plant active ingredients and the correlation between these and the physiological role within an organism, pharmacology and pharmacognosy, branch of pharmacology dedicated to the study of drugs deriving from natural sources. I love to document myself and broaden the spectrum of what I study with the reading of the most up-to-date publications and scientific journals concerning my area and beyond, as my disposition towards curiosity always pushes me towards the search for new and interesting stimuli that can increasingly enrich my basic knowledge. Throughout my life I have always taught private lessons both in the family to my younger brothers and to external students.

My teaching methodology starts from knowledge of my students, therefore his nature, his study method, his level of knowledge of the subject and so on. It is fundamental for me not to impose a method with very precise rules but to get to know my student and adapt a unique method for him and his personal experience. Building a safer ground together on which to deepen and improve themselves , by learning of new better skills.
