About Angel
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on understanding the student rather than simply teaching from a fixed curriculum. I want to understand where you are struggling and why so that we can work through those difficulties together. My lessons are primarily intended for K–10th grade students who want to strengthen their basic math abilities or fill specific gaps in their understanding.

I believe the best tutoring is personalized to each student’s individual needs. I create lesson plans based on the skills you want to improve, the areas you struggle with, and the goals you want to achieve. My lessons are especially well suited for students who have specific learning gaps or need additional one-on-one help.
During our first session, I’ll ask you what you would like to work on and what you find challenging. If possible, I may also ask you to provide an assignment, paper, or anything else that can give me a better understanding of your current skills and what you need to learn. From there, I can create lessons that are specifically tailored to you.
